Open shade beats noon sun

If you cannot move the couple, move them two metres into shade.

Direct noon sun on faces makes squints and raccoon eyes. Open shade (a wall shadow, a tree edge, a verandah) keeps colour and catchlights. Keep the bright background behind them if you can. Expose for skin. The background can go bright; faces cannot go blotchy. Haldi outdoor: same rule. Shade first, yellow powder second.
